BOOK SIGNING EVENT

 

The 2016 Neighborhoods of Newport House Tour will host a book signing event featuring Bettie Bearden Pardee’s Living Newport: Houses, People, Style on Sunday, April 24th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM during the House Tour.  Living Newport will be available for purchase for $65.

Author, lecturer, garden connoisseur, former magazine editor and television host/producer, Bettie Bearden Pardee calls Newport, RI home, the inspiration for her most recent books on lifestyle and design, and her new website, “Private Newport.”

Previous book titles include Private Newport: At Home and in the Garden, for which Bettie received an award for a “commitment to excellence” by the Horticultural Society of New York;  Newport in Flower: A History of Newport’s Horticultural Heritage; and two on entertaining for young marrieds, Pardee Guide to Great Entertaining and Pardee Guide to Great Weekend Entertaining.
